Synopsis

Each night, Patricia calls her sister Irène and returns to the same questions about loneliness, anxiety and the possibility of another world. To symbolically prevent the sun from disappearing, the characters invent a ceremony combining song, dance, music and spoken word. Huit Minutes uses contemporary opera to explore our need for ritual, belief and renewal.
